The Dragonfly Restaurant project was a design and build job that was carried out with great teamwork and extraordinary execution. An urban industrial design that includes natural materials and accent colors, an architectural approach to lighting fixtures, and a highly versatile layout.

On this spacious lobby Birka took an organic approach. The main idea was to create a warm space by taking advantage of the double height. The team incorporated vertical wood slates that connect with the ceiling paneling that created an endless effect. The company included green details – like a vertical garden – where colors and textures generated a lovely contrast. All of the traits were highlighted with natural light and with a special selection of light fixtures.

The world-renowned Art Basel fair brings the international art world together. It features over 250 leading galleries and more than 4,000 artists from five continents. Many high-quality exhibitions take place concurrently in and around Basel, creating a region-wide art week. Birka designed this space for PINTA MIAMI, a must stop for collectors, curators and artists from all over the world that visit the fair during Miami Art Week. A gathering area in an open space was constructed with a mix of warm woods and greenery, which repeats in each architectural detail and interior furnishing.
